Noordvaarder

This wooden shrimp cutter was built in 1958 in Oldersum (D). She fished in Norddeich until 1996. In the same year she was sold to the Netherlands where she sunk as a neglected ship and was suitable for scrapping.

The current owners bought the ship in 1999 and have started a total restoration. The hull was finished in 2005 and the furnishings have been completed over the years.
