Frouke

The rich history of this ship goes back to the late 19th century. Its keel was laid in 1893, and for many decades it served in freight transport until it took on a new role as a passenger vessel in the 1960s. Today, it stands as a beautifully preserved piece of maritime heritage, maintained with great care and dedication. Since 1997, the ship has been privately owned and has undergone a major transformation: the entire underwater hull was replaced, and both the interior and technical installations were completely modernised. A remarkable feature is the engine, which likely dates back to the 1960s and still forms the beating heart of the ship. Whether competing in demanding races or undertaking long voyages across the German Wadden Sea towards Denmark, this vessel continues to prove its reliability and seaworthiness.
