Libby

The 'Libby' is a replica of the Block Island Boat Dauntless. Block Island is located off the coast of North America near the state of Rhode Island.
The island was discovered in 1614 by the Dutch Captain Adriaan Blok (1567-1627).
Block Island boats were known for their seaworthiness and stability in rough weather. From about 1750 to 1900 they were used for fishing and connecting to the mainland. In that period of about 150 years only one shipwreck is known, namely the smallest (6 meters) that sank on the rocks.
Due to the exceptional width, the ship has an exceptionally spacious interior depending on its length, making it very comfortable as a yacht.
