In the research projects Blue Balance and Testerep, the team of Digital Arts & Entertainment Research (Howest) worked together with partners such as UGent, VLIZ, VUB and KULeuven on the themes of art development and sustainable blue economy.
Among other things, DAE Research made a 3D representation of 5000 years of history of the Belgian Coast, an interactive application that allows you to look at the history and future of our coastline, a 3D explanation of various techniques used to protect people and animals from rising sea levels and so on.
You can discover all these applications during Oostende Voor Anker on a large interactive screen.
