In the heart of Ostend at Anchor 2026 lies the Blue Village – an interactive meeting place where visitors can engage with companies, researchers, maritime schools, and service providers from the blue economy. Don’t expect dry information booths, but rather an inspiring square where you can learn, try things out, and even take your first steps towards a job at sea.

The sea is a vulnerable ecosystem that requires protection and restoration. We must therefore take care of our sea! Many companies, organizations, research centers, and knowledge institutions are deeply committed to this. In the 'Blue Vision Expo' at Oostende voor Anker, they passionately share their commitment, dedication, and expertise to once again make our North Sea a livable and enchanting place for everyone. An educational and interactive experience for young and old, full of things to see, do, learn, and read! The Blue Vision Expo will be a dazzling anthology of innovations, actions, and projects within the framework of our theme 'Caring for the Sea'.
