P6 Le Gardon

The 'P6' is a former US Army patrol boat that was built in 1942 and served in WWII. After the landing in Normandy and the liberation of the Netherlands, the 'P6' was further used by the port authorities in Amsterdam as a patrol vessel.

It was demilitarized in 1952 and to this day it is classified as a historic luxury yacht and approved as a historic vessel FONV by 'De Oude Glorie', an association of boat owners.
