Nynke

The “Nynke”, originally “Tundra”, was built in 1963 as a “Custom Build” at the Appelo shipyard in Zwartsluis, the Netherlands.

Later, in 1987, Tom Middel bought her after which she moved to Zwolle and Almelo. During the 35 years that followed, "Nynke" underwent a complete metamorphosis. Major works were carried out between 1987 and 1990.

It was the start of many adventurous sailing trips for "Nynke". From Paris to Berlin, Lyon, Bremen and Prague. Over the IJssel, Maas and Waal, Rhine, Neckar, Elbe but also the Sambre and the Saône. But also numerous locks and canals. Just about every navigable river and canal has seen the "Nynke".

In 2022, Amy Beaulisch purchased the "Nynke". The name was retained, but during major maintenance in the summer of 2023, the original blue-white color scheme was returned. Furthermore, the "Nynke" was fully prepared for new adventures. to experience.

"Nynke" weighs 14 tons, still has the original kitchen from 1963 and is equipped with a very well-maintained DAF575D engine from 1966.
