Rummy III

Requisitioned in 1940 at Boston as a Naval officers launch she was sent in 1942 to Great Yarmouth as a fire ship for coastal forces base. In 1944 she went to Ludham on the Norfolk Broads as a depot ship for HMS Flycatcher, a fleet air arm unit and she is we believe the last wartime Fleet Air Arm vessel afloat.

After the war she was returned to her previous owner who had her until 1957. The current owners know every single owner since 1935 . Now based back on the Norfolk Broads they attempt to commemorate the many hundreds of small vessels used by the Royal Navy during the war.
