Oostendse dokken

Discover the real life around the docks through a free walk: from fishing and crafts to art, food, workshops and maritime stories. The event takes you to places you don't normally just get in.

Along the route there are guided tours, tastings of drink and food, shrimp croquette workshops, demonstrations, art exhibitions, food trucks, performances and many more different activities for young and old. A visit to part of the fish mine is also part of the trail, giving you a unique look behind the scenes of the maritime world around the Fishing Dock.

With this initiative, the participants want to show that there is a unique mix of entrepreneurship, maritime activity, creativity and craftsmanship around the Fishing Dock. At the same time, they want to introduce you to an authentic side of the city that often remains hidden from the general public. The walk is freely accessible and you can start wherever you want.
