Who is RelyOn?

RelyOn is an international market leader in safety and survival training and consultancy services for professionals active in the offshore, maritime, wind, electrical, and industrial sectors, as well as in construction and utilities. In addition to standard training courses delivered under expert supervision, they also develop tailor-made programs fully adapted to the client’s specific equipment and work situations. They also offer a unique team-building concept consisting of four modules: Tower Rescue Escape Game, Substation Inferno Challenge, First Aid Response, and Abandon Ship Mission.

Their training courses are certified by GWO, STCW, OPITO, and VLARIO.

During Oostende voor Anker, RelyOn Belgium demonstrates in the blue innovation village and on the water at the Montgomery Dock how survival and safety techniques are applied in practice. Visitors get a unique insight into realistic emergency scenarios and discover how well-trained professionals ensure safety and rescue operations at sea.

At the stand, younger visitors can experience for themselves what it’s like to climb a “wind turbine” in the tower.

In collaboration with the Maritime Institute Mercator, they also present a live demonstration of survival techniques at sea every day at 2 PM at Montgomery Dock.
